Another Record Weekend on FSL and ebk03001 Wins Largest Prize Ever

We had another huge and record weekend on FantasySportsLive.com. Thanks to everyone who competed in our Fantasy Football, Fantasy Basketball, and Fantasy Hockey contests this weekend.

Sunday ebk03001 took down the biggest individual prize ever won on FSL when he won $400 in a $213 heads-up contest. Congrats.

We are currently working on a draft interface upgrade which will be a nice improvement over what we have now. We plan on rolling it out later this week if all goes well. We are also finishing up a few improvements to Hockey and Basketball. As always your comments and feedback help us make our offering even better, so keep them coming!

Hockey Launches at FSL

We launched Hockey officially on Sunday with our first contests set for today. We now offer all of the four major fantasy sports on FSL. Next up is NASCAR for next year. Please provide feedback on the hockey structure and cap levels/values so we can fine tune our offering and make it even better. As the week rolls on we will introduce more and more contests to choose from for Fantasy Hockey. Tell your friends about Fantasy Hockey at FantasySportsLive.com, and compete in the only Daily Fantasy Hockey Contests available.

Hockey, DI, and EOQ Updates

I wanted to provide a quick update on the website development side at FSL. Hockey is progressing better than expected. It looks like we may begin running Fantasy Hockey contests as soon as tomorrow. We are also looking at doing an incremental upgrade to the draft interface. There are a couple of small items we think we can improve there, and will start working on this as soon as Hockey launches. Lastly, we are going to do what we can to implement "End of Quarter" scoring updates for Fantasy Basketball. End of quarter updates, while not as good as real time updates, are a nice improvement over the end of game updates we provide now. I am not making any promises here, but if we can get access to the updates, we will provide them for our contests.

Activity is way up on FSL over the last few months. Thanks to all the new users, and keep spreading the word about the revolution in Fantasy Sports taking place at FantasySportsLive.com.

Opening Week Jitters

We have had a handful of issues this week with the launch of Basketball. None of this has affected the scoring or outcome of any contest, and we have also settled all basketball contests in a timely manner so far. A great deal of this is related to our live feed, and the opening week issues they are having. Things should get better over the next day or so as most of this stuff gets resolved. We will always get the scoring right before closing a contest so don't worry if you see some strange mid-game stuff for now. The best news from all of this had to do with the incorrect mid-game scores that came through last night. This is our feed experimenting with end of quarter basketball updates. We may be able to now provide end of quarter leader board scoring updates for basketball which will be a huge improvement over just end of game as planned. Nothing is fully worked out yet, but if we can get these end of quarter updates for basketball we will provide them to you for free as soon as possible.
